Recognisable comes before frequent
A profile that posts every day looking different each time teaches the follower to ignore it. A recognisable profile, even posting less, is remembered.
Consistency is what turns reach into memory.
What to standardise first
Before thinking about frequency, lock down four things: the palette, the typography, how photos are cropped and treated, and the tone of voice in the caption.
With that settled, anyone on the team can produce something that looks like the brand.
The grid matters
A first-time visitor sees nine posts at once, not one. Thinking about how the posts talk to each other in the grid changes the first impression more than any single post.
Tone of voice is part of the visual identity
A brand that writes differently every week looks like it changed owners. Decide whether the brand is casual or formal, whether it uses emoji, whether it jokes or stays serious, and stick to it.
Consistency is not repetition
Keeping an identity does not mean always posting the same format. It means the carousel, the reel and the story look like they came from the same house.
