Why the plan stalls mid-month
Almost always for the same reason: the month started with no agenda set. In week one enthusiasm carries it, in week two an urgent demand shows up, and by week three the profile has gone quiet.
The problem is not a lack of creativity. It is that deciding what to post every day is an expensive decision, and it competes with everything else going on in the business.
Start with the pillars, not with the posts
Pick three to five subjects your brand will always talk about. For a clinic that might be prevention, behind the scenes, frequent questions, the team and cases. For a retailer, product, use, promotion, behind the scenes and customer.
With the pillars defined, each post stops being a blank page and becomes a slot to fill.
Build the month in one afternoon
With twelve posts a month and five pillars, you spread two to three posts per pillar. Write only the title and the core idea of each. You do not need the final copy yet.
When it is time to produce, you are not deciding what to say, you are executing something already decided.
Separate what is constant from what is opportunistic
Eighty per cent of the calendar can be planned ahead. The other twenty stays free for whatever comes up: a date, industry news, a comment that turned into a recurring question.
That slack is what keeps the plan from breaking when something unexpected comes up.
Publish at the times your audience is actually there
This changes per business and you find it by looking at your own profile, not by copying a ready-made list off the internet. After a month of data, the pattern shows up.
